How long is the service life of silicone membrane?
For our VIBASIA silicone membrane,
3000+ using times for common tear resistance membrane with tensile strength 6Mpa, elongation 350~400%;
5000+ using times for high tear resistance membrane with tensile strength 10.8Mpa, elongation 600~800%.
This is an very subjective question, as the operating conditions and control of different companies are very different. Above is only general theoretical data for our products.2
What can be done to extend the service life of silicone membrane ?
*storage temperature should be less than 20℃,10~18℃ will be better
*Preheat before using when temperature less than 5℃ (ask me if you don’t know how to preheat)
*store away from direct sources of light and heat
*don’t put it with sharp goods
*regular clean and inspection3
Can the damaged silicone membrane be repaired?
Yes, damaged silicone membrane can be repaired with nature silicone. Free charge of nature silicone can be supplied if you need. And ask me if you don’t know how to repair, we’ll send you repair files or video.4
Does your silicone membrane with seamed joints?
1 piece seamless membrane width up to 3600mm in continuous lengths. It’s no need to worry about joints if width less than 3600mm.5
