The Employment Pass (EP) is a work pass for foreign professionals working in managerial, executive or specialised jobs.
EP has with a validity of 1 or 2 years As an EP holder, you are also eligible to apply for permanent residency in Singapore.

Employment Pass Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for an EP, you must have a minimum fixed monthly salary of S$3,000 and possess
one or more of the following:
Recognised educational diploma/degree / Professional qualifications / Specialist skills

There are three categories of Employment Pass: P1, P2 and Q1 Pass. The P Pass is for foreigners seeking managerial,
executive or specialist jobs.
1) P1 Pass For applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of at least S$8,000.
2) P2 Pass For applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of at least S$4,500
3) Q1 Pass For applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of at least S$3,000
Passes for Family Members
Dependant Pass
Both P and Q1 Pass holders can apply for Dependant Pass for their:
Spouse
Unmarried children under 21 years of age
Long Term Visit Pass
P Pass holders can also apply for a Long Term Visit Pass for their:
Common-law Spouse
Unmarried daughters above 21 years old
Handicapped children above 21 years old
Step-children under 21 years old
Parents and parents-in-law
