P8 series flame retardant, HBCD-free type, Environment-friendly.
P8 series flame retardant is a new type of environmental friendly flame retardant, which is developed by adjusting the intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions and using brominated flame retardants as main material.P8 series flame retardant can effectively improve the dispersion of HBCD in polystyrene resin matrix, especially suitable for the production of polystyrene extruded board (XPS).

Technical Features
Feature 1
The difference of the rheological properties between the flame retardant and the polystyrene resin is effectively eliminated, and the interfacial polarity between the flame retardant agent and the resin matrix is improved. Thus the dispersion of FR in the polystyrene products has been improved , and the efficiency of flame retardant is improved greatly.
Feature 2
The P8 series flame retardant does not contain heavy metals, which enhances the safety of XPS board application.

Feature 3.
The P8 series flame retardant does not contain talcum powder, which improves the stability of of XPS extrusion production.

1. Recommend that the temperature of melting material is below 200 ℃
2. Recommend that adding amount of 4%, and oxygen index of XPS Extrusion board can reach up to 26% (formula and production process will lead to the difference between the test data, the data is for reference only).
