Compared with traditional bubble film, SHOW AIR ’s film saves 30% of cost, and also saves storage space. With 50 kg load bearing, after inflating the thickness is 2-4 cm, 4-10 times thicker than the traditional bubble film. It has better elasticity, better anti-fall and anti-shock effect, and stronger anti-pressure ability.
Material and process
The materials are divided into HDPE, LDPE and Nylon material, HDPE is our main material in stock.
LDPE film: good looking (transparent color), soft, generally is a co-extrusion film, can’t be too thin, difficult to seal.
HDPE film: high strength, opaque, generally the thinnest thickness is 15um.
Nylon material (barrier film): soft and good looking, high strength, the cost is 3 times more than PE material;
If the pressure is more than 150kg, must use Nylon material, can’t use PE material.
The finished product of the PE film, after one year’s storage, it will become sticky and hard to use.
The PE film has a large domestic demand in China, and when it’s more thin, the technology gets harder. Therefore, it is not the thinner the cheaper, the thinnest one in Jingdong is 13um.
90% of the PE film on the market are HDPE.
