Main Parameters:Bes-Care ortho casting tape is a synthetic casting tape that unite a Fibreglass substrate and advanced water activated polyurethane resin system, giving tack-free lamination.It has a very smooth surface and high lamination to ensure a strong finished cast.The air permeability properties enable moisture to evaporate from the skin to bring down irritation.
Features:Quicker casting :- Short application time. Quick to apply, quickly to set.X-Ray Friendly : Triangle Fibreglass casts are x-ray friendly, allowing a clear view of the recovering injury. Environmentally friendly.Water resistant :The open knit structure, along with the water resistant qualities of the fibres, allow water to quickly drain from the cast.Breathable Materials: Cast Select fiberglass casts are breathable, reducing risks of smells and skin irritation.
Applications: Apply the protective padding or stockinette on the fixed part.Wear surgical gloves.Before opening the package, choose the roll of proper size.Wet the cast in room temperature water (21-24℃) for 4-6 seconds and squeeze it 2-3 times to complete penetration of water into the body of the roll.Fold spirally, overlapping the previous layer by one-half or two-thirds the width of the roll.Just 3-4 layers provide a strong non-weight-bearing cast and 5-6 layers are typically adequate for weight-bearing cast.
