PET sheet is widely used in thermoforming application.
It is not only because of the insulating property and penetrability, but also its intensity through co-extrusion and gas-isolating character.
Using PETG can make the material much easier to be mended and printed (adopt different solvent from PVC), and APET in the middle layer efficiently save the cost. That is, PET sheet is regarded as a substitution for PVC clear sheet in every application.
