The softgel capsule size & shape are decided by the mold, which in some countries people also call it Die Roll. Most often used shapes include: Oblong, Oval, Round, Tube, etc.. The capsule size is represented by the number(#) or minims of the capsule. 1 minim is about 0.0616ml. Commonly used soft capsule mold size start from 1.5# to 60#.
The soft capsule mold is ordered in sets. Each set of mold include two molds, one injection wedge, one distribution plate, and one timing gear.
The packing of the soft capsule mold adopts aluminum box.
The mounting dimension varies for different soft capsule main machines. We can provide soft capsule molds not only for our own softgel machine, but also for other major softgel machine suppliers's.
