2) growing plants that don’t have very deep roots like wheat grass
They are flexible ,light weight trays, not very rigid or stiff ,hence u need to use both hands to support and lift from either sides.
Also easy to drill holes without making efforts to push the drill bit.
You could also use them to cover another tray while the seeds are in the germination stage.
I use one tray ( with holes drilled) to grow plants and use another one beneath it for support or as a water reservoir.

It is made from BPA free Polypropylene (PP). This is the same type of plastic they use to make Plastic cups, baby bottles, Kitchenware, microwavable plastic containers and lids
3.What is the mil thickness?
2.0mm. Very likely to be the 'thickest', most 'heavy duty' or 'extra strength' tray you're going to find. Lot's of competitors have jumped on board, but no one has yet to come close to ours. This are also made of food-safe & recyclable PP plastic.
