Silicone rubber sponge is a standard grade closed-cell silicone sponge. It is widely used as filler. Such material is flexible and compressible, designed for use in extreme temperature ranges, with excellent weather resistance, compression set of permanent deformation resistance, electrical strength and non-stick characteristics. Silicone rubber sponge, can be composite with glass fiber to be stronger as tear-reinforced, can be affixed to double-sided adhesive, can be cut into any shape of the sealing element.
High temperature silicone rubber is formulated to withstand intermittent spikes of
273.89Centigrade(525Fahrenheit )temperature operation. Aside from temperature resistance and inherent highflexibility, this silicone rubber has an excellent resistance to water, good electrical insulation properties and inertcompounds to resist fungus and mold growth. Exceptional electrical, moisture and chemical resistance, extremelystable and suitable for using with many acids and alkalis. Retains high flexibility.
Commonly used in applications over 260Centigrade(500Fahrenheit).
