Talasco Dagang Sdn. Bhd. (TDSB) began operations in November 1984 and is 100% wholly owned and managed by Bumiputeras. Under the stewardship of the very able and pro-environment of Raja Datuk Nong Chik family, one of Talasco Dagang's main businesses since its inception is metal recycling business. We procure these metal recyclable materials from companies in the private sector and Government agencies such as Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Telekon (M) Berhad and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Kementerian Dalam Negeri) and sell them to the end-users. In 1997, we started our Services Division when we tendered for Left Luggage Service in KLIA. We were then awarded with the contract and thereafter appointed by Malaysia Airports Berhad to manage the Left Luggage Services in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). In 2000, when LCCT-KLIA was officially opened, we were appointed the sole operator for Left Luggage, Unaccompanied Baggage and Courier Service operator for LCCT. Currently, the TDSB is proud to be the sole operator of the Left Luggage Services in both main airports in Malaysia.

Today, Talasco Dagang is living up to its name which is the abbreviation of "Tahan Lasak Company". ("Tahan Lasak" is the Malay equivalent of durable). Talasco Dagang's durability has gone from strength to strength and we have diversified into other services. Harnessing our top team's 20 years of experience in the marine industry, our vision and innovative team successfully designed our very own speedboat with its one-of-a-kind hull and tunnel design, making our boat like no other. Our Engineering Division currently manufactures and supplies our very own speedboats, CAPTOR.
