Telstar Component Enterprise Sdn Bhd produces media packaging such as cassette, VCD/CD and DVD casing to a wide
range of industrial and commercial customers. Telstar Component Enterprise has a rich 15 year history of inventing,
designing and building a good quality of CD and DVD plastic casing.Telstar was incorporated officially in 8 December 1989 as a registered company by the director Mr. C.L.Tan and
Miss L.W. Voong . The company initially operated as a cassette producer in a small shop lot in Taman Semasa ,
Batu Caves. Following the expansion programmed, the operations of Telstar Component Enterprise was shifted to the
present own factory in Taman Bukit Maluri Ind. Area, Kepong , Kuala Lumpur . Recently, we have two factories, the first
factory was used for local production and office whereas the second factory which located nearby was used for
international production.In 2001, the company had invested RM17 million to purchase few new machines for expansion purposed. This
expansion had doubled our production and leads the company to international level.Today our products are distributed around the globe. It included Europe, Russia, Africa and Asian.Company again invested RM10 million in new machines
in order to make a 100% automatic production.As a result of this expansion, the value of export was increased about RM4 million per year and we expect that for the
coming year this amount will be increased from 40 %( recently) to 60%.
