Is there anything softer than bamboo velour fabric? We doubt it! Bamboo velour is loved for cloth diapers and all sorts of clothing, as it is absorbant, breathable, and amazingly plush. Wonderful for dye projects. For instance, we have used it for wonderful hand-dyed scarves that you never want to take off. You may not know that bamboo velour starts as bamboo terry - the loops are trimmed and brushed to give the velour that soft hand. Creamy natural color.

Machine wash and dry.
Sewing
Use a universal or ball point needle. Velour will stretch, so a walking foot is helpful. You could also stiffen with spray spray starch or basting glue before sewing. It will shrink about 5% when washed, so be sure to account for that.
