Operation Guide
1. Connect the socket of fiber optical cable and the optical output interface of cold light source with fiber optical cable.
2. Turn the switch from OFF to ON to electrify, and start the cold light source, blower fan working and cold light coming out.
3. Adjust the knob of light intensity to the required degree,then it can be used with other instruments, such as endoscope.
4. At the end of the operation, turn the knob of light intensity to the dark side, and then cut off the power supply. Pull out the connector plug, and disconnect the fiber optical cable.
Attentions
1. The illumination of the halogen cold light source is increased with the working current aggrandizement. In order to prolong its lifespan, it is better not to extend the working hours and turn the knob the highlight brightness. Meeting the clinical use is enough.
2. Ensure the blower fan is in the right working condition, and then cold light source can be put into use. Nothing is allowed to put nearby the blower fan to prevent it from blocking airflow convection and heat dispersion.
3. When the supply power is on, please examine if the chassis is creepage. If it is,stop the operation.
4. Don’t douse liquid inside the lamp to prevent it from short circuit, damage of electronic components and crack of the bulb.
5. When the operation finishes, firstly turn the knob of light intensity to the dark side, and then cut off the power supply. Don’t cut off the power supply immediately in a state of highlight brightness because it can reduce the lifespan of the halogen cold light source.
Maintenance & Repair
1. The cold light source should be kept in ventilated, clean and dry room , with
noncorrosive air.
2. The cold light source should be electrified regularly even if it is not used in a
long time.
3. If the blower fan does not work and no light comes out after the supply power
for the cold light source turns on, please examine the circuit and the bulb. For the
circuit system, examine the fuse, diode and the silicon controlled rectifier. If the
bulb is damaged, please remove the setup on the bottom cover to change a new
one.
