The UK Government is committed to producing 15% of its energy through renewable resources by 2020. In order to help them achieve this target, they have introduced a Feed-in Tariff scheme, designed to promote the widespread uptake of small-scale, renewable and low-carbon generation technologies. Cleantech NRG limited was formed last year when it’s director, Kevin Neil, developed an investment tool which enables investors to benefit from this generous incentive. This product is ideal for clients seeking high income investments which are retail price linked and is available to both UK and non UK residents/citizens.
The investor is registered as a micro generator with Ofgem which enables them to receive the FIT Tariff. The investment buys the client one or more solar systems which are installed onto suitable 3rd party roofs. Our technology is unique in the solar field and it’s state-of-the-art design enables it produce up to 25% more energy than a standard system. The FIT Tariff is paid for each kwh of energy that is produced and there is a small residual payment for each unit which is exported into the grid.
The main details of our product are:8%+ Inflation proof income for 25 years.Investment starts at £17,850 (inc 5% VAT) and is available on multiples thereof.Income is paid direct to the investor by a utility company on behalf of the UK Government.On multiple investments the client’s money is held in Escrow and covered by REAL Assurance. The roofs are selected for their suitability i.e. south facing, at 30 degrees and with no shadowing.The investor can invest in more than one roof.Clients without homes in the UK can invest.Non UK residents/citizens can invest.The systems are maintained and are also insured against damage and loss of income (£10,000 per annum).The equipment is warrantied for 25 years.Increased incomes for larger investments.The investor can potentially exit the investment after 3 years through the sale or securitisation of their asset.
