Nutty, mellow, chocolatey - many words have tried to capture the essence of this delicious Machu Picchu coffee. We might also add 'hardy' because this mini-paradise in the Peruvian Andes was devastated by the El Niño storm in 1998.
A decade on, Cafédirect's Machu Picchu is finer than ever. It contains only hand-picked Arabica beans, expertly roasted to yield their fulsome flavour. Like everything we buy, it is Fairtrade and we help growers and their communities in other ways too. Two growers sit on our board and most grower organisations have a shareholding in Cafédirect.
