Sebs

In succession to the successful development of industrial production technologies of SBS and SIS above 10000t/a, the Synthetic Rubber.developed the production technology of thermoplastic rubber SEBS and owned the intellectual property. We built the first set of 20kt/a industrial production plant in 2005.
SEBS is kind of thermoplastic elastomer. The products in the selective hydrogenation of SBS are of good temperature endurance with brittle temperature not higher than -60°C and the maximum service temperature of 149°C. The decomposing point is higher than 270°C under oxygen atmosphere. SEBS has excellent aging resistance and the performance degradation rate less than 10% after being aged in the artificial aging accelerator for one week. SEBS is superior in electrical property. Its dielectric loss is 1.3x10 at1KHz and 2.3 x 10 at 1MHz; the volume resistance is 9x10Ω-cm per minute and 2x10Ω-cm two minutes. SEBS has good solubility and mixing property with the solubility of 7.2-7.6.
Elastomer of A0-95 shore can be produce through mixing SEBS with polypropylene, naphthene oil, hydrogenated naphthrnr oil, white oil etc..Such elastomers have excellent surface quality. weather fastness and aging resistance.It is extensively used for soft material such as handles, stationery, toys, handgrips of sports equipment, sealing strip, wires and cables, toothbrush stem and other wrap material.
SEBS can be modified or co-mixed with PA6, PC,PPO and PU to be used as compatilizer for plastics co-mixing.
SEBS can be used as compatibilizers for engineering plastics, such as for PE and PS.
SEBS blended with PP, white oil and flame retardant can be used to produce the coat wires and cables.
SEBS combined with petroleum resin such as C5 can be used to produce high-grade adhesives and sealants.
Due to its warm fastness and aging resistance, SEBS can be used directly as the stabilizer of viscosity index of lubricant.
n-Butyllithium
N-Butyllithium is used as olefin polymerization catalyst, alkylating agent, pentamerhide conversion agent. It is also used as an initiator for thermoplastic elastomers of SBS, SIS and other Li-series polymers.
Packaging and Transportation:
Customers must provide loading container and carry-outs. The container must be a special container for n-Butyllithium loading (Sustain pressure 0.6Mpa), and have a certification of qualification. Careful checking must be done before loading and all procedure need to keep cleanse and dryness. Sufficient nitrogen replancement is needed before loading (In the Analysis of container O2 ≤ 20ml / m³,H2O≤ 20ml / m³).
N-butyllithium is a product with active chemical propertied. Mechanical collide、solarize and drench must be prevented during transportation .
