It is laid flat on the surface of the soil, holes can be cut to accommodate existing plants, then cover with 3-4 inches of mulch, stone or bark to protect fabric from sunlight and to enhance the appearance of your garden.
Nonwoven Fabric for Agriculture Weed Protect emits no chemicals that can harm plants, pets or the surrounding area. They are permeable fabrics, which allow air, water and nutrients to pass through, and designed to block out the sun to reduce photosynthesis and stop weed growth.
