Cosmetics Cog R Cannula 150MM PDO Suture Thread Surgical Double Needle
What is PDO ?
PDO(polydioxanone) is a potent synthetic bio-absorbable fiber, consisting of one filament(mono-filament)or barbed which dissolve after a certain time in the tissue. Having been used in cardiothoracic surgery (open heart surgery) for decades, PDO sutures are one of the safest to be injected into the body.
They are now used in the medical aesthetic industry to successfully treat aging skin tissue.
PDO Thread Lift is a minimally invasive procedure. After numbing and infusion of local anesthetic, the PDO threads are inserted via sharp or blunt cannula needles into different layers of the skin. once inserted, the threads anchor the skin and lift it upwards. The excess threads are then cut off.
One of the many advantages of using a blunt-tip Cannula for PDO thread insertion is that it minimizes the risk of tissue trauma. A Cannula is also longer and more flexible than a needle, so it is easier for the doctor to find clear pathways through tissues with just a single entry point.
As a result, tissue trauma is decreased, and in effect, bruising is lessened and recovery periods are significantly shortened. There are advantages for the patient and the practitioner.
