A New Experience With Handicraft Villages (1 days/0 nights)
This excursion is to help you explore a peaceful and ancient Hue with a lot of royal tombs, a romantic Vong Canh Hill where tourists can admire a lovely panorama of the city, garden houses with surrounding traditional fences, local people living on the making of incenses and conical hats. Then the boat will continue to take you downstream on the Huong River to Sinh Village (its pen-name is Lai An) which is famous for the traditional craft of folk woodblock painting dating back 300 years or so.

You also have a chance to enjoy a meal which is characterized by the culinary arts of Hue people in particular and Vietnam in general of many centuries and other interesting things awaiting you.
Morning: The Moto driver pick you up at the hotel and visit Phuong Duc bronze-casting village then visit Tu Duc tomb which shows architectural features in free and romantic forms just like the character of this Emperor, and talents of artisans under the Nguyen’s dynasty.
In the way, you stop by a villages where local people make incense and traditional conical hats as their livelihood, and enjoy the landscape of HuongRiver from Vong Canh Hill, one of the 18 beauty spots of Hue.
You across PerfumRiver by Bach Ho bridge, then go to An Hien Garden House, one of the typical ones in Hue where you can see a traditional Hue old styled house and an orchard offering fruits all year round. Leaving An Hien, you go and see Thien Mu, an ancient pagoda built under the Nguyen’s Lords (1601), a symbol of HueImperialCity.
Noon: Leaving Thien Mu, you go downstream on a motobycle to Sinh junction where you disembark, pay a visit to SinhVillage which is well-known for paintings on rustic paper and have lunch at the house of the artisan Ky Huu Phuoc. Then, have a break and free to visit Lai An Village’s Temple.
Afternoon: Tourists engage in all the process of printing and colouring paintings in a traditional way. This is also a souvenir gift from your excursion (tourists can buy paintings of artisans as a gift for your relatives and friends). On the off beaten track, you visit the authentic life of local people.
