What’s Non-added formaldehyde Straw Particleboard?
Straw PB is new substrate zero-formaldehyde release panel made from raw rice and wheat straw combined with proportion of fruit trees and added with more environmental friendly ecological MDI glue. Straw PB has higher environmental protection and strength, better dimensional stability and mechanical properties, excellent surface decoration and processing properties, which can be used for various surface decoration treatments and machinery processing. The advantages are obvious in the manufacture of panel custom furniture.
Why choose MDI as the adhesive?
MDI adhesive, a deep reddish brown liquid product, is suitable for the manufacture of high-performance wood-based panels. It is superior to all traditional wood adhesives. It has short hot pressing time, excellent water and weather resistance, low adhesive content, and excellent processing performance, which have unmatched advantages of other synthetic materials especially in heat insulation, sound insulation, wear and oil resistance, elasticity, etc.,. Its chemical properties are very stable, non-volatile and deteriorated, and have strong stability.
High bonding strength, less glue, no formaldehyde and heavy metal pollution is the biggest advantage.
The amount of glue used in general panels is around 30%-40%, while the amount of glue used in Straw PB is controlled at 5%-6%.
MDI is a widely used polymer synthesis material. Because of its excellent safety and stability, it even can be used in artificial blood vessels, heart valves, refrigerator, and Lycra fiber.Related Products
