Product Description Replace COMPRESSOR PARTS 1613 8007 00 Air oil separator for GA75The oil separator functions to separate the lubricating oil in the high pressure steam discharged from the compressor to ensure safe and efficient operation of the device. According to the principle of reducing the gas flow rate and changing the direction of the gas flow, the oil particles in the high pressure steam are separated by gravity. Generally, when the gas flow rate is less than 1 m/s, oil particles having a diameter of 0.1 mm or more in the steam can be separated.
The simple working principle of the oil separator: the high-pressure gas (gaseous working fluid and lubricating oil) from the compressor enters the oil separator and enters the guide vane of the oil separator. The spiral flow along the guide vane depends on centrifugal force and gravity. The lubricating oil is separated from the working gas and flows down the inner wall of the cylinder. The working gas is led out of the oil separator by a central tube through a porous baffle. The separated lubricating oil is concentrated in the lower part of the oil separator and can be periodically discharged, or the floating ball valve is used to automatically return the lubricating oil to the crankcase of the compressor.
