1. Magnesium Oxide board "MgO board" is a factory-made, non-insulating sheathing board product. It can be used for a


number of applications including wall and ceiling linings, fascias, soffits, tile backing, and underlayment. It is made of


magnesium oxide, a type of mineral cement, and is commonly called simply "MgO" (pronounced emm-gee-oh) due to its


chemical composition of magnesium (chemical symbol Mg) and oxygen (chemical symbol O). Think of MgO as a type


of sheathing board (sort of like drywall or cement board) but with much-improved characteristics such as fire


resistance, weather ability, strength, resistance to mold, mildew, and so on.

2. First, pls allow me to give you a detailed explanation for mgo board.For Mgo board, there are two different formula, one is Chloride mgo board(Mgcl2), another one is the sulfate mgo board(Mgso4). Mgso4 & Mgcl2 means use different formulation to produce the board. But the board has different quality standard, so it means Mgso4 board have two kinds, common(standard) mgo board & Premium quality sanding mgo board. Mgcl2 board have two kinds, common(standard) mgo board & Premium quality sanding mgo board. Since the chloride mgo board has the sweating and corrosion problem, we only produce the pure sulfate mgo board.

Our high strength floor board is specially designed for floorings.Its bending strength could be up to 20MPa. The backside is sanded and very flat, the tolerance could be less than 0.02mm.We could make different edges such as shiplap, so you could install the board quickly.

In the process of producing Mgo board, usually there are two times of curing.1) First time curingIn the first time curing, it needs 12 hours and the temperature should be controlled to 24-36℃. 2) Second time curingThe main function of second time curing room is to drying the redundant water/mositure of the board.It needs 48 hours and the temperature should be controlled to 45-50℃.After the first time curing room, the chemical reaction only could be finished 60% and the strength and durability can not be reached. So it needs the second time curing to dry the rest moisture. This picture is for the temperature alarm, which could safely guaranteed the temperature is within the controlled area.
