Surgical Disposable Neutral Electrode Pads with cable
1. Choose a muscular or well vascularized convex skin site near the surgical area, but not closer than 20cm, on adults.
2. Avoid skin sites with excessive hair, scar tissue, bony protuberance, erythema or lesions of any kind.
3. The chosen site must be closer to the surgical area than any ECG electrode.
4. Shave the chosen skin area, clean it carefully and dry it.
5. Apply the electrode to the skin starting from one corner and continuing to the far site keeping consistent pressure.
6. Check that the electrode sticks well over the whole surface to the skin and that the clamp connector has been securely fastened to the electrode‘s tab.
7. After use, remove the electrode by lifting it from a corner and gently peeling it off to avoid any skin reaction.
WARNING
1. Not sterile, do not attempt to sterilize, do not cut, do not add electrode gel.
2. Do not replace, do not pour any liquid on electrode, do not turn ESU on before electrode has been properly applied to patient.
