Mass finishing is a process which conditions the surface of a part for its ultimate intended use.Consequently,a process which causes a planned effect to a part's surface,or creates,prepares the surface of a part so as to assist or completely achieve the final desired quality without changing the basic shape of the part,can be described as mass finishing.

Porcelain media is a preformed tumbling media for deburring, polishing, radiusing, cleaning and de-rusting. Porcelain media works great for polishing and burnishing parts. This media contains no abrasive compound and doesn't remove material from parts. Typically it was used in the final step of processes. It can also be used in simple deburring applications or to add a radius to part edges.

Used after cut-down for final finishing. Brightens dull surfaces while removing very little metal with the correct use of compound.Below is the polishing effect of the porcerlain media.



The right size and shape for your application depends on the geometry of the component. If there are small openings it may be best to choose a larger size to prevent media from lodging.And we offer a varity of shape of the porcelain media.Please refer to the chart.
