What is Extra Virgin Olive Oil?
Extra Virgin (Italian - Extra Vergine, Spanish -Extra Virgen, cold pressed oil, first cold pressing) is olive oil produced entirely by mechanical means without the use of any chemical or biochemical additives.
During the production process of this oil, olives are washed, put in the water for some time, and then gone thorough centrifugal machine and filter. Extra Virgin olive oil is the highest grade of virgin oil derived without use of solvents or refining methods. It is a pure product and is judged to have a superior taste.
It contains no more than 0.8% free acidity. As a rule, it is used for making sauces, dressing salads and hot dishes.
Storage Conditions
Keep in cool and dark place.
After opening, keep in cool and dry place, away from sunlight and heat.
At temperatures below 7 ° C, it hardens. At room temperature, it restores to its original condition, which does not affect the quality of the product.
Should be transported in dry clean vehicle.
