How does an oxygen concentrator make oxygen?
The portable oxygen concentrator adopts the principle of pressure swing adsorption (PSA), and uses zeolite molecular sieve as adsorbent to prepare oxygen. The raw material air is filtered to remove solid impurities such as dust, pressurized by an air compressor, and then cooled by a condenser, and the air valve inlet is controlled by a control valve, and the pressurized air enters the adsorption tank containing the zeolite molecular sieve, and the intake air Nitrogen is adsorbed by the molecular sieve, and oxygen is separated and enriched by molecular sieves to form product oxygen. When the adsorbed nitrogen in the adsorption tank reaches a certain saturation, the control valve controls the gas valve to close the intake air, opens the exhaust gas, and the adsorption tank is subjected to the reduced pressure release flushing to regenerate the molecular sieve in the adsorption tank, thus completing a cycle. The two valves are controlled by the control valve according to the set logic to perform the same circulation process for the two adsorption tanks in turn, thereby continuously supplying oxygen.
