Poly Electrolyte or Polyelectrolyte, also called Polyacrylamide, abbr. PAM, is a kind of water soluble polymer, has unique effect to increase the viscosity of water or to promote the flocculation of particles present in water, it can also reduce the frictional resistance between the liquid.


According to the different ion characteristics, PAM has three types: Anionic PAM, Cationic PAM and Nonionic PAM.

1.Dissolving an polyacrylamide when the stirring speed is not too fast, to prevent the occurrence of mechanical shear degradation of the molecular chains.
2. Dosing rate cannot be too fast to even prevent clumping form insoluble.

3. Usually the product is prepared into solution of 0.1%-0.3% (W/W) for use.
