In electricity generation, steam turbinegenerator is a device that converts motive power (mechanical energy) into electrical power for use in an external circuit. Sources of mechanical energy include steam turbines, gas turbines, water turbines, internal combustion engines and even hand cranks. Steam turbine generators provide nearly all of the power for electric power grids.
The reverse conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy is done by an electric motor, and motors and generators have many similarities. Many motors can be mechanically driven to generate electricity and frequently make acceptable manual generators.
Main technical conditions of steam turbine
N series steam turbine is a single cylinder and impulse condensing turbine, which is a single layer arrangement unit. The turbine, generator and condenser are arrangedat a single layer, and the operation layer is zero meters. Steam turbines, generators and condensers each have a public chassis. The steam turbine cylinder, the reducer, the main valve, the electric oil pump, the generator and the condenser are all installed on the respective chassis or the oil chassis. The oil pipe road and the drain pipeline have been fabricated and assembled in the manufacturing plant, which has the characteristics of compact structure, short installation cycle, and saving to infrastructure investment.

Steam turbine regulating system
1. a.The units adopt WOODWARD digital electro-hydraulic control system (505). The regulating system can maintain a given electrothermal load steadily during the operation of the steam turbine.When the load changes, the regulating valve should be able to work normally and smoothly.
b.The turbine protection and monitoring system (TSI) adopts well-known domestic brand products. The monitoring items include speed, vibration of bearing block, shaft displacement, thermal expansion and so on. The operation of the security device should close the main valve quickly, closing time is less than 1.0s. When the main valve is closed, the steam extraction valve and the regulating valve should also be shut down quickly.
2. The retardation rate of the speed control system is not more than 0.5%
3.The unit should be able to maintain the idle load when it is in rated or maximum operating conditions.
4.The adjustment part needs static characteristic test before delivery.
5.The maximum speed of the rotor doesn’t exceed 112% of the rated speed before the emergency protector started.
6.The emergency protector adopts a centrifugal flying hammer structure, and the rotational speed is 109-111% of rated speed.
7.The Seller shall design a speed measuring device in the security system so that it can meet the configuration requirements of the digital tachometer and the analog tachometer.
Within 15 days after the entry into force of the contract, the seller will provide a set of drawings for each unit power station design to the buyer in order to meet the design requirements.
The drawings and data list provide full set of drawings, installation instructions, necessary calculation books according to the technical conditions of fixed power generation steam turbine, and provide various thermodynamic properties of various working conditions.
When the equipment is delivered, the seller will provide drawings relevant in English and Chinese according to the supply sheet included.
The products should conform to Chinese national standards, ministerial standards and factory related standards, and supply products with certificates.
