Function:
1. Simulate standard open airway
2. External breast compression : display device and alarm device
a. indicator light display of correct and wrong compression ; alarm of wrong compression
b. intensity display of correct and wrong compression; alarm of wrong compression
3. Artificial respiration (inhalation) : display device and alarm device
a. Inhalation <150-200ml or > 200ml ,wrong indicator light display and alarm prompting ;Inhalation between 150-200ml right indicator light display
b. Inhalation too quickly or too much result in air entering into stomach ; indicator light display and alarm prompting
4. Operation frequency: 100 times per minute; 120 times per minute
5. Operation methods: exercise operation
6. Examination of brachial artery response :pinch the pressure ball by hand and simulate brachial artery pulse
7. Working Conditions: output power is 6V transformed from 220V external power through manostat.
Material:
The face skin, neck skin, chest skin and hair are made by plastic material and molded technically. The model possess accurate anatomic marks, real sense of touching, lifelike and endurable figure, easy assembling.
Manual instructions:
A.The installation of the manikin:
Take the manikin out from the package suitcase, put the manikin on operator’s stand and let the manikin flat lie face up. Take the external connection power cord, 220v, 500ma/6v adaptor, out of the suitcase then to connect with the manikin. Plug the display device with the power cord into the 220V power source, the whole connection is accomplished.
B. Procedures and cautions during the operation
1. open airway—Let the manikin flat lie face up, the operator’s one hand pinches, with two fingers, the nose of the manikin, the other hand holds the scruff keeping head upward to 70º—90º degrees to form a airway open
2. Correct and error displays in artificial ventilation—While correctly carrying out the mouth-to-mouth (or mouth-to-nose when mouth-to-mouth is not doable, sealing the mouth for doing the mouth-to-nose) breathing. The inhalation shall be 150-200 ml and the green light indicates. If inhalation is greater than 200ml, the yellow light indicates. If inhalation too quickly or too much, the red light indicates.
3. Correct and error prompts in compression—Placing the hands on the lower half of the manikin’s sternum, above the xiphoid process, doing the chest compression with two fingers or the thumb. The correct chest compression depth is 20-30mm and the green light indicates. If compressing on the wrong chest area, the yellow light indicates. If the strength of compression is stronger than 30mm, the red light indicates.
Operational:
1.Training: This mode let the initial operator get acquainted with the basic operational procedures. Setting up all the functions prior to the operation, with counting forward, first let airway open. Proceeding the mouth to mouth breathing or the cardiac compressing. Regardless the correct or error operations, it could have the lights indication and error reminding alarms.
2. Referring to 2005 CPR, and ECC instructions standards:
a). Individual: The ratio is 30:2 (30 external chest compressions and two mouth-to-mouth blowing). And the operation frequency is 100times/min. First, carry out two times of mouth-to-mouth blowing, then carry out the external chest compression 30 times, in accordance with the 100times/min frequency, it is required that five consecutive cycles shall be carried out within the demanded time.
b.) Duo: The ratio is 15:2 (15 external chest compressions and two mouth-to mouth blowing). And the operation frequency is 100times/min. First, carry out two times of mouth-to-mouth blowing, then carry out the external chest compression 15 times, in accordance with the 100times/min frequency, it is required that five consecutive cycles shall be carried out within the demanded time.
Maintenance and Repair:
1. After the usage, the manikin’s face, mouth, nose, chest skin, respiratory tract and inlet valve shall be sterilized and cleaned with thimerosal.
2,When replacing the broken airbag, open the chest cover, take out the gasket on the lung air bag and the nail cap of slide rod of the sensor artificial respiration, twist out the nut connecting the lung air bag and replace a new lung air bag, then assemble and restore it.
3. Store the manikin and display device in a dry and ventilated place; do not place them in the humidity or with the exposure of sunshine, which will influence the service life.
Notice:
1. When carrying out the mouth-mouth blowing, the CPR face sheet shall be used, one piece for one person to avoid the infection.
2. Washing the hands before carrying out the operation, the operator shall wipe off lipstick to prevent the stained on the face skin and chest skin of the dummy. The pens are prohibited to write on the skin.
3. When carrying out the compression operations, press it in accordance with the frequency, Do not press randomly, or program might be in error. If the program is in error, turn off the power of the display device and restart it for properly maintain the service life.
