FONG YONGelectrical potting compounds are based on one andtwo-component epoxy resinand silicone compound chemistries. They are solvent-free liquids, anddesigned to efficiently fixture and encapsulate electronic components, while also protecting them from adverse environmental, mechanical, thermal and electrical stresses. SFY-131
(Flame Retardant Silicone for Potting)
SFY-131 is a two-part with good flow abilityaddition curing RTV2 rubber silicone compound. It is mainlydesigned for electrical and electronic potting, such aspower supplies, connector, sensor, relay, high voltageresistor pack, and LED potting. It is suitable for batchprocessing or automated dispensing. With differentcolors for better distinction, base is black or dark greyand curing agent is white. It can be cured in a 1:1 ratioby weight or volume either at room temperature orelevated temperature for faster processing. The curedmixture is a black flexible elastomer. The elastomer hasexcellence in electrical properties and waterproof,self-extinguishing (UL94V0 approved), and weatherresistance. Those properties are not significantly affectedby the changes of temperature.
