PEEK bearings produced by polyetheretherketone (PEEK) resin from Specialty Polymers for strong chemical resistance, high heat deflection temperature, low creep, and exceptional dimensional stability. HONY’s PEEK roller bearing is used in a range of processing machinery for the food, medical, chemical, and industrial markets.
PEEK bearings are also more durable than those made of competing materials like stainless steel. The PEEK bearing can be employed in high-heat environments up to 240°C (464°F) relative thermal index (RTI). In addition, the material’s corrosion resistance allows for smooth rotation in moderate acid-alkali environments. The PEEK bearings come in a range of sizes from 26 mm/1.0 in. (inner diam. 10 mm/0.39 in.) by 8 mm/0.31 in. to 72 mm/2.83 in. (inner diam. 35 mm/1.38 in.) by 17 mm/0.67 in.
