Hemp seed, as one of the three superfoods, is the new star in the international health food market recently. Nutrition study in recent years found that hulled hemp seed is an exceptionally rich source of essential trace elements for human body which contains rich protein, linolenic acid Unsaturated Fatty Acids (UFA), linoleic acid Unsaturated Fatty Acids (UFA), lecithin, vitamin, calcium and iron etc. The major Curcuma cultivating provinces of China is Shanxi, InnerMongolia, Xinjiang etc.
Hemp seeds are the seeds of the hemp plant. Hulled hemp seed, which is the whole seed with the crunchy outer shell removed. They are exceptionally rich in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). Hulled hemp seeds are also a great source of vitamin E and minerals, such as phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc (1, 2).
