XLPE Foam (Cross-linked Polyolefin Foam)
XLPE Foam (Cross-linked Polyolefin Foam) is chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam in sheet or roll resulting in a foam product, closed cells and smooth skins both sides. TB XLPE foam is a supplied with factory applied embossed aluminum foil facing and repositionable acrylic tissue adhesive system. It is used for heat insulation and sound absorbing materials in a host of container's designs and suitable in the building and construction field, like duct, roof, and wall where thermal insulation, moisture resistance, sound and vibration is critical.

TB-XLPE-01
TB XLPE-01 is produced according from GB8410, issued by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) Standardization Administration of China (SAC). Retain the sample horizontally on the U shaped bracket; after igniting the free end of the sample with flame of a defined height in the combustion box, make sure if the flame on the sample went out or when it went out, as well as the burning distance and time used to burn such distance. Measuring range should be higher than 150°C; accuracy should be 1°C. Burning rate (V) should be calculated by following formula V= 60* (L/T) V refers to burning rate, unit is mm/min L refers to burning distance,unit is mm T refers to time used for burning distance L, unit is s. Test result of burning speed should be the maximum measured value of the burning speed of five or more pieces of samples. If the sample is exposed to flame for 15s and still not burned; or the sample is burned, but flame goes out before it arriving at the first gage mark, there is no burning distance to measure. It should be deemed as conformity to the requirements of burning rate. Result should be recorded as A-0 mm/min.
