Founded in 1935 by Alan Fuss and David Lieberman, Bowery Lighting was the crown jewel of the Bowery for decades to come. In 1978 Julius Geffen by chance and opportunity bought Bowery Lighting Co. and the Geffen family has run and operated the business since. The company is the heart and sole of the family, an eighty year legacy that the father left his children.In celebration of our 80th birthday we'd like to introduce Green Logic LED (GLL) as a new division dedicated to researching, developing and manufacturing products that:- Help the environment by creating less CO2- Save consumers money by lowering energy bills- Support businesses by providing highly competitive prices
