E-120/H-100 is a two parts, low viscosity, various color epoxy potting compounds. This insulation resin is designed for protecting sensitive electronic components from impact, shock, vibration, heat, conductivity, moisture, chemical and visual inspection.

Preparation and application instructionsUse a clean dry container, add one part hardener to three parts resin, stir until the materials are thoroughly blended together. Scrape down mixtures out the container wall and bottom, and mix well again.The importance of thoroughly mixing cannot be emphasized-if bubbles are whipped into the mixture these can be removed later. Note: Improper mixing can result in soft/sticky spots.once you have thoroughly mixed the resin mixture, carefully pour over the surface in an even pattern, spread where necessary using a piece of stiff paper to help the liquid flow together.If the mixture is left In the mixing container, it will become hot and set after pot life.After the mixture has been applied to the article, any air bubbles creased while stir will rise to the surface taking approximately some minutes to appear, these bubbles can be easily broken by gently using a torch.Hold the torch approximately 150mm away from the article and sweep smoothly across the surface until the bubbles have disappeared, this process may be as often as is necessary while the material is still in liquid form. Brush the edges until the material is set firm enough not to sag.Allow the articles to cure at room temperature in a warm dust free room.Cure time will vary with humidity and temperature.

1. Do you supply UL grade materials?
Answers: Yes, we manufacture and supply our epoxy resin / hardener and liquid silicone rubber that are formal listed by UL under the following files:
2. Are epoxy potting compounds or silicone potting compounds better to be used?
Answer: It is exactly dependent on customers’ requirements.
3. Can I add some materials to lower viscosity?
Answer: Whenever you add a thinning agent to a formulated system, you are changing the characteristics of final cured properties. We recommend warming the material to lower the viscosity, not adding a thinning agent. Or please tell us your required viscosity, we would recommend you other suitable resins to try.
4. How can I speed up curing time?
Answer: You can speed up curing time at elevated temperature.
5. How do I get a technical data sheet for your products?
Answer: Please send us your inquiries. We will provide you our TDS immediately.
6. What should I do if a potting compound couldn’t cure?
Answer:
1) Make sure the mixing ratio is exactly correct (by weight or by volume)
2) Make sure the compounds are thoroughly mixed. If the resin includes fillers, before use, please stir the resin respectively to uniform the fillers in the resin. After you mix resin and hardener, please scrape the materials attached around the wall and bottom of the mixing container and mix again.
3) The cure rate of the compounds will highly dependent on the potting amount. Curing would be faster in larger potting amount and smaller amount will take longer curing time.
4) If the self life of the compounds are expired and uncured happen, we suggest you not to use the material or contact with us for further recommendation.
5) If the compounds haven’t store around proper conditions, it would also
cause uncured. Please refer to our data sheet for suitable store conditions.
6.Should I de-air my materials?
Answer: For most conditions, de-air the compounds are highly recommended. The vacuum should be hold for minutes till the collapse of the foam head while minor bubbling continues and then slowly released.
