IDN's International Callback PlatformThe callback services are available for users from anywhere in the world. All you need is a touch tone phone and a callback account on the IDN network. Callback is used for clients who are making calls from any international destination to any other international destination. Clients outside of UK regularly use this product. Callback is particularly suitable to countries where there are no available direct access numbers for direct calling. Types of Callback service: DDI callback CLI callback Callback Calling Card IP callback Callback with PIN request SMS callback DDI callback requires the user to call a pre-allocated UK/French telephone number (often referred to as a DDI number), and then receiving a callback call and dialling the destination. CLI Callback- this service is intended for use in countries where CLI (Caller ID) is available through the PTT. The service uses two DDI numbers, one for CLI self-registration and the other for CLI callback request. Internet Callback- Customer logs onto our web site or resellers website, enters their account and PIN for verification, and then trigger the callback by clicking on the respective DDI. SMS Callback -An SMS text message is sent from the user's mobile telephone, which initiates the callback process. IP Callback- 1. This is used by Web Sites to trigger Callback services to clients served by that site. 2. The second scenario involves Remote Gateways located in destination countries, triggering callback from the main network. This is used for countries where the CLI of callers are not provided internationally, but are available locally. Hence a gateway in the country will pick up the CLI and trigger IP Callback. E-Mail Callback - The Email will contain the CLI of the caller, Account number. When the network detects the Email request, the CLI and/or account information are used to trigger the Callback. once the call is established, the End-User will answer the phone, and make any number of consecutive outgoing calls.
